Who we are as The Veterans Guild

We are a young guild progressing across the lands of Dalaya. Currently we are working Tmaps and Raiding Tier 1 - 3 when available/possible. We are far from a hardcore raiding guild. Unlike most guilds on SoD, we favor the person over their Character/Gear. In our eyes, good people are few and far between, but gear and levels can come with time. Below is a short list of expectations and ideals that we strive to uphold.

Help Others -- We as a guild are dedicated to helping others within reasonable expectations. Veterans members will not be so self absorbed that they are unaware of others. Let us show that we are here to make our guild and SoD as a whole the best place for all players of all levels. We are willing to lend a helping hand when needed. Often we are willing to donate items to new players or buff, bind, and heal fellow travelers; all free of charge.

Encourage Grouping -- With the experience bonuses added for grouping, we believe it doesn't make much sense for many classes not to group and group often. Veterans encourage lower levels to learn and practice basic grouping skills. By grouping across all levels we become more aware of our classes roles and inner workings, while helping us be prepared for the needs of later game content such as Tmaps and Raids.

No Guild/Server Drama -- We expect all members to carry there guild tags proudly, and not be anon. If you so wish /role can used as to hide your location while still displaying your guild tag. As such we expect all members to respect the rules set forth by the Guild and Server Opps/Gms. To respect our fellow player and guild members. Use common since across all channels, simply put don't be rude to others in any form. Causing drama within the guild/server will be punished, in extreme/repeated cases it can lead to guild removal of the members causing the disruption.

Avoid Distracting Members & Ourselves from Real-Life Goals -- If you really enjoy playing SoD you may find yourself spending a lot of free time playing. Play as much as you want. We encourage you to evaluate your priorities. Never ever, let SoD or Veterans get in the way of your studies, or work responsibilities or your relationships. Do not neglect your families or friends. Your body also needs good food, plenty of sleep and regular exercise.

Have Fun! -- Veterans members are dedicated to have fun. We will not get so caught up in the need to level, comparisons to others, our own selfish desires, and other petty and unimportant things while loosing touch with the real reason we play SoD: to have fun. If we can't have fun playing SoD then we shouldn't play.
